Sorry you have a problem with the piece and with David. I'll take the heat on that. I hired him to direct and think he did a great job. Apparently I am not alone because our project just won the Grand Prize in an International Indie Short competition. Go figure.

There was a lot about "Crabs" I didn't like either, but that had nothing to do with David DeBoy's work.
The concept is great, it would definitely sell but a few of these actors are so stiff and uncomfortable that it doesnt allow me to suspend my disbelief.
Other than that, good luck. Here is to hoping you get enough money to fund this that you can upgrade your cast, and perhaps upgrade your director so that this one doesnt look like a sketch from 'Crabs'.
Not that 'Crabs' wasnt good, David DeBoy, but if this one expects to be on a screen it's going to have to look like it belongs on one and not next to the discount rack at Wal-Mart with some David Faustino vehicles.
Again, BEST OF LUCK!!!!!!!!!!! I'd like to see this come to fruition but I'd hate to see your solid vision end up looking like an also-ran.
I saw the trailer at the Creative Alliance on a big screen when Ty showed it as part of a collection of "in the works" film projects. It was by far, the best piece of work shown that night. Somebody please put up the money. I want to see the rest of the picture. Merry Christmas to all.
